History
Wanan Puerto Rico was created to deal with the rising waste issues accumulating on the island. Puerto Rico is second only to the mainland United States in per capita waste generation; its citizens produce close to 4lbs of waste a day.
As an island, the space available to deal with the problem is inherently limited, additionally, the EPA has moved to decommission a portion of the existing landfills. With the remaining landfills quickly filling to maximum capacity, a new solution is needed to tackle the problem before it becomes an ecological emergency.
Wanan Puerto Rico's (Wanan PR) mission is to bring Wanan's VersuTech Eco Industrial Park to the island to offset the incoming waste stream and ultimately begin to reclaim the land back to its former natural state. In addition to dealing with the waste, the Eco Industrial Park also serves to stimulate the surrounding economy by feeding energy back into the grid and lowering the cost of doing business for industries which had been forced to downsize or relocate due to high energy costs.

With his extensive experience in the banking and financial fields, brings to our corporation a rich background as a Director, a General Manager and chief Financial Officer for a number of major Government and Financial Institutions throughout Puerto Rico. He has been the Director of Finance and Loans for the Puerto Rico Government Employees Retirement System; President, CEO of Puerto Rico’s Housing Bank & Finance Agency; Vice President, MBO, The Bank and Trust of Puerto Rico; District Manager, Banco Popular de Puerto Rico. His negotiating skills coupled with a keen ability to resolve intricate financial situations through resourceful financial engineering brings to the corporation a stable footing to build a successful platform for corporate growth and development.

Highly respected business and community leader with more than 30 years of highly accountable executive positions in construction and development. His professional experience includes positions as business, community and political liaison for multi-regional municipal affairs. Director of Electoral Judicial Central Office, Sub Director Sports Municipal Affairs, Sub Director Civil Defense, Sub Director Municipal Affairs Office, Director (Agent) Professional Teams Municipal Affairs. He has been instrumental in the introduction of our project and technology into the Puerto Rico market.
